On August 20, 1941, he graduated from the Louis Royal Military School with the rank of lieutenant. On August 3, Tarzai receives a new education - now armored - in Esztergom. Until 1944 he served in the armored forces of Honvedsheg, in particular in the 1st battalion of the 3rd tank regiment in Ceglede. Since April 1944 - in the 2nd company of the 1st tank battalion of the 3rd tank regiment of the 2nd Hungarian tank division in Galicia (Ukraine). His tank was the "Turan" with a 75-mm short-barreled gun.
